Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)

TRA: Important Changes  Updated Program Guidelines for the Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) and the Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) Program as follows:  

 

"From 1 November 2021, Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) will implement the updated Program Guidelines for the OSAP and TSS Programs. 

  

There is a key change to Pathway 2 of the OSAP and TSS Programs. 

  

If you are applying with an Australian VET Qualification and you are seeking assessment in a licensed occupation under Pathway 2 of the OSAP and TSS Programs you will need to demonstrate at least three years full time, paid employment in a directly related occupation. This must include 12 months full time, paid employment in your nominated occupation in the three years prior to lodging the application. The 12 months full time paid employment in your nominated occupation must be in Australia.
