VIC State nomination program

VIC State nomination program

In a recent newsletter from the VIC state nomination authority, it has advised that from 9AM AEST on Monday 30 November, the Victorian Government will open to receive new applications for Significant Investor (subclass 188C) visa (SIV) nominations.

The re-opening is possible due to a limited number of visa places remaining from the Commonwealth Governments interim allocation in August 2020.

In regard to the new allocations for the state nomination program, Victorian government has advised that it is still awaiting further details from Department of Home Affairs. The Victorian government will provide more information as soon as it is available. Until then, all the other visas will remain closed for the new applicants.

Victorian government will continue to select high calibre skilled migrants for nomination from the pool of Registration of Interest submissions.

Once the program reopens, Victorian government continue to welcome students and PhD graduates to apply for Victorian visa nomination. All applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to be considered for nomination.
