Migration agent sanctioned

On 12 March 2026, the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) suspended the registration of a migration agent for 3 years and until certain conditions are met.

The OMARA found that the agent:
• Charged unreasonable fees
• Failed to hold client money in clients’ account
• Showed a lack of understanding of the migration law
• Failed to deal with clients competently, diligently, and fairly
• Failed to account for clients’ dependence on his knowledge and expertise

The Authority was satisfied that the agent was not a person of integrity or a fit and proper person to give immigration assistance.

For the full list of sanctioned agents refer to OMARA disciplinary decisions.
