Key Points:

1. Processing Times:

   • The oldest unallocated nomination application was lodged on November 25, 2023.
   • Aim to provide outcomes within 10 days after allocation.

2. Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) Visa:

   • Nominations Used: 343 out of 600 places.
   • Applications in Process: 33 nomination applications pending decision.
   • Invitations Issued: 21 invitations awaiting acceptance.
   • Registrations of Interest: 512 on hand.
   • 
     

3. Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) Visa:

   • Nominations Used: 240 out of 600 places.
   • Applications in Process: 26 nomination applications pending decision.
   • Invitations Issued: 13 invitations awaiting acceptance.
   • Registrations of Interest: 381 on hand.

4. Selection Process:

   • Migration Tasmania continues to select Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for nomination.
   • Up to 30 invitations are issued weekly.
   • Only the most competitive ROIs are chosen for nomination.
