Migration Queensland will introduce a small increase to application processing fees from 1 January 2026, in line with the Queensland Government’s approved indexation rate. This is the first fee adjustment in several years and applies to all payments made on or after 1 January 2026.
From this date, the application fee for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visas will be AUD $310 if paid from overseas and AUD $341 if paid within Australia (including GST). The Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) – Small Business Owners Pathway will have a fee of AUD $455, available only for payments made within Australia.
