Victoria’s skilled migration program has opened for the 2025–26 year to both onshore and overseas applicants. The Department of Home Affairs has provided an interim allocation of 200 places for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) and 180 places for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491). A full allocation is expected in the coming weeks. Active Registrations of Interest (ROIs) remain valid, and applicants only need to submit a new ROI if their details have changed.
